Don’t Ever Force Yourself To Be Happy

How to be happy, get happy now, change your life through positive thinking,,,
the underlying message here is you are doing it wrong. Change it and you’ll feel better.
Nothing could be further from the truth.
The truth is we are human and we are going to feel lots of stuff.
Most of it probably won’t be good.
Despite of this you can still feel GOOD!!!
Stop fighting the thoughts, give them alternatives instead.
Example: “I don’t know why they don’t talk to me anymore, what’s wrong with me.”
Alternative: People can think and do whatever they want with their lives and it has nothing to do with me.
When I counteract the thought with the alternative thought, I feel better. Why? Because I released the pressure around the thought.
More importantly I didn’t make it about me.
I am letting them be who they are without it having to do anything with me.
When I release the pressure off myself, I can allow other people to be themselves. I no longer expect people to be happy or act a certain way for my benefit.
This doesn’t create instant happiness, it creates space.
Space for me to feel love for myself and for others.
Space to dream and inspire.
Space for sadness and hope at the same time.
Don’t chase happiness or try to stop negative thoughts, that’s just self-abuse.

Take it moment by moment and allow the space for feeling really good! Soon that will become your set point to live a joyful life!!
